Flat top mount riser for FastFire

Hey guys, I just got a free Burris FastFire 2 reflex sight. I was wondering if anyone uses one and knows what height riser for a Flat Top AR to cowitness with a A2 front and Magpul BUIS rear sight.

I'm guessing a 5/8" or 3/4" but hoping maybe someone could shed some light to save me the trouble.

It has the stock 1/8" mount that comes with it to attach to the riser.

Burris makes a pretty sweet mount for the fastfire 2 and 3. It has metal wings on both sides and raises it up to where you can mount in on an A3 upper and cowitness it with irons. I believe it's called the AR F3, or something.

I was eyeballing this setup on Primary Arms' website. It also has storage for a hex wrench, battery and the burris wrench. It's only $80, or so.

5/8" seems to be the common wisdom on these.

I ordered a 5/8" QD for it. Hopefully that will get me in a good co witness range. I'll post back if it works out so someone else can benefit if they need the info.

Ya, I saw that. Didn't want to go all in unless it works out and I dig it on the AR. Definitely a cool setup for it.

        Thanks for your replies fellas!
