    Lost picatinny sight clip, HELP!

    First:

    I was at the range, and had to take off my front sight for some 'smith work last (not this past) weekend. The front sight has/had a removable piece that screws into the sight base that holds onto the rail. Problem is, (and I didn't find out until yesterday) when my gear was getting packed up that piece was overlooked/lost and didn't make it home.

    So basically I need a new screw-on piece that I can put on for my front iron sight to mount it back on, but I can't seem to find anyone that sells just these pieces. Any advice for locating a replacement piece that'll fit my sight? I can't find anything online no matter how I've searched.

                      Not sure how much that would help. That's not really a universal component; they tend to be machined to mate up with the rest of the part.

                      Out of curiosity, what happened with AIM Sports? No response? Flat-out denial?

                              Find a similar piece on an inexpensive full item on say eBay and cannibalize the piece you need and throw the rest in the parts bin.
