Red Dot Sight for a new Desert Eagle .44 Magnum

Good afternoon folks! Within a few days I'll be the proud owner of a new desert eagle! I got the cal approved model with the integrated picatinny rail on the barrel and I've heard good things about it accepting various red dot sights. However, the desert eagle also has a prodigious recoil which I know is the bane of all red dot sights in existence.

Any of you Eagle owners out there have any recommendations for a red dot that can handle the recoil and is roughly under 300 bucks? I'd prefer an open profile one, but I'm not averse to use a tube style one if it's worth the price.

    Thanks for your help!

What did you pay for the Desert Eagle?

I need a .44 mag to fill in my collection and I've always wanted one.

Came to about 1500 all said and done with taxes and fees and whatnot.

I used the www.galleryofguns.com quote system and Wimpys Pawn shop in Azusa had the best deal closest to me.

It kinda sucks in a way because the non-cal compliant models were actually about 200 bucks cheaper (My MSRP was 1382ish where the non-cal models were about 1100), but after searching around you're pretty much looking at around 1500 bucks give or take for buying a brand new one here in california.
