Has anyone ever seen or used a US Optics base for bolt action? Specifically for Remington 700 short action.

I have an opportunity to pick one up, but there isn't a single review for them online, and I can't seem to find any information about them.

It looks like Midway used to sell them, but they've been discontinued.

No idea. Maybe not enough demand for them. Last time I checked there prices were a little high. Badger is a reputable name and Seekins as well. Normally cheaper and still top notch quality.

If you have a chance to buy it cheap, dont hesitate. They make good stuff.

I have one on my 700. Well built and no issues. Buy it.
