    Are DMZ scope mounts any good??

    I have a Rem 700 ADL in 300 win mag. I need a scope mount for it.
    I was looking at the 1 piece DMZ mounts... Do I go low med or high?? Are these mounts good? Any other recomendation under $100

    I hear a lot of people like them for casual rifles- I assume you mean DNZ......

    Most people at the competitions use quality 1 piece base and rings however.

    Your height will depend on your barrel contour and the scope you choose (OBJ diameter)

    You didnt say what scope....

      *The extra low mounts fit all 32MM objective scopes and some 40MM objective scopes.

      *All of our low mounts will fit plain bell 40MM objective scopes and some 44MM objective scopes.

      *Medium mounts fit all 44MM objective scopes and most 50MM plain bell objective scopes.

      *High mounts fit all 50MM objective scopes and most 56MM objective scopes.

      *All dimensions from top of receiver or barrel to center of 1" or 30MM bore.

      *Extra low mounts are .795 to .875, depends on firearm.

      *Low mounts are .920 to 1.000, depends on firearm.

      *Medium mounts are 1.045 to 1.125, depends on firearm.

      *High mounts are 1.170 to 1.250, depends on firearm.

                DNZ makes a seriously rock solid once piece mounts that do not need lapping. The only downside is that the distance between the rings is fixed and you'll have to make sure that the distance works with your scope while leaving room for fore and aft adjustment. Talley Lightweight scope mounts is another good choice for hunting, or Burris Signature Zee rings on Weaver style bases.

                    There not good, there GREAT. Just my .02 but I own about 7-8 and have them on rifles in .22lr, .223, .243, 30-30, .270, and .308
