Simon Scopes

I was at a local swap meet and came across a Simon "kotobuki" Super Variable Scope, 3x-10x-x32.5. It was/is in a plain white box that smells of mothballs and the included paperwork is, for those of you old enough to remember this type of copying machine......ditto copied!....you know, the blue type of ink used to copy a typewritten document. Anyone ever heard of Simon rifle scopes? I paid 25 bucks for it It is perfect, new and was still in the original wrapping material. I can find no info online about it.

Simmons scopes are a cheaper brand. They have better quality than most of the cheap stuff. I have a couple on 22RF and they work fine. I would put one on a larger rifle if it was a fun gun and not a hunting rifle.

The rifle is just a plinker. I think 25 bucks is a good price and it seems to have decent sight picture. I just have not been able to find anything on it...might be because it is from the 70's I guess.
