Which Trijicon RMR for a pistol?

Getting ready to mount a RMR on a M&P Pro Core, torn between the RM06 (3.25 MOA) vs. RM07 (6.5 MOA). I am no competition type guy, just looking for feedback on whether 3.25 is too small on a pistol or if 6.5 is too large before I blow $600.

For a defensive pistol, 6.5. For a target pistol, 3.25.

Basically Brownell's or Midway, I think I am going 6.5 based on my poor eye sight and it will be used inside 25 yards.

I think I found the best prices on Amazon. Under 550.

I got a the tritium/fiber optic triangle because I hate batteries.

Best prices I've seen in a while are at SLR Rifleworks and Exile Machine right now. Both are under $500 for the LED and under $450 for the tritium/fiber optic models.

^ I did the same. I hate batteries so I opted for the RMR04(7MOA). OP, I would get the larger MOA. (Unless you plan on target shooting out past ~50YRDS then get the 3.5MOA).

A 6" dot at 100 yards covers 1 1/2" at 25 yards.

Or 12" at 200 yards.


For a pistol6-8" dots are great.
