Tritium Vs. Fiber Optic Front Sight?

Glock 17 with weapon mounted light. Tritium or fiber optic for front sight? Gun is for home defense and range/classes (or Red Dawn/zombies). Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Warren Tactical fiber fronts are narrower than stock and are simple.
I polish the flat underneath the light pipe.
An narrower front will allow you to see through it more and most enjoy greater accuracy.
The benefits of that outweigh havering an tritium lit front to help you orientate the handgun at night.
How often do you shoot at night?

IIRC I just installed a combination tritium/fiber optic front sight from TruGlo.

      Best of both worlds!

Do you want a bright dot during the day? Fiber....

Do you want to see the dot in darkness? Tritium.

Warren/seveigney all black (stepped/textured/ridged?) front with all black rear. @ night your light will illuminate the target and you will be to see the index of your black outlines against it... in daytime it's just better than a dot setup. Using the top to index is more precise than a dot. If the bad guy is up close, you probably won't even look at your sites. If he's far away, you'll appreciate the extra precision. Since they're simple they're also extremely durable, and inexpensive.

I have been eyeing the new Vickers Elite Battlesight which looks similar to the Warren Tactical ones. My thought was that a fiber optic front sight would pick up the weapon light at night, but if the light failed or I couldn't use it, it would still function the same way as a blank front sight. I'm also probably over-thinking this.
