Need a price check on a scope

Some guy is selling two supposedly brand new Nikon pr31 3-9x40 for 100.00 each. Is that the same as prostaff model? Is it for a rim fire? No box or anything, is that a good price?

Assuming they're not broken, it's a fair deal, they sell for $170 new. Legit deal? Not enough info.

Amazon has them for $137 shipped new... if its the same scope, then that's a good deal if its new.

If you didn't want the hassle of dealing with a 3rd party scope is already inexpensive new... but if its the same scope and its a legit deal then go for it.

The seller states they a brand new never installed with no boxes, he also mentioned he trades some stuff for them but has no knowledge of firearms. Might be to good of a deal, and I would prefer to have the box and instructions when I want to sell them.

The price difference is only $37 between a new product from a reputable seller vs an unknown, I sure would order from Amazon.
