    Redfield Revolution

Anyone have any experience with Redfield scopes mounted on an AR? What mount did you use? Any thoughts? Opinions? Model?

I justed looked through one at turners. Was really surprised how clear it was. Debating between revolution 4x12 and vortex diamond back. Lets us know what you end up with.

I have a Revolution 2-7x33 in the 4 plex and it's great. Very clear, and extremely light weight. Adjustments are slightly mushy but repeatable. Good eye relief and eye box. Can't go wrong for a US MADE scope.

Leupold Rifleman rings on an UTG riser - I move it around from the AR, 10/22 and a 357 lever action.

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

I have the Revolution 4-12x40mm, Accu-Range reticle. Mount is a Burris PEPR. Sits on my AR 6.8SPC. Great scope. Very clean and clear. I use it for hunting. The 6.8SPC shoots so flat I don't really need to make adjustments up to 200yds unless I'm shooting different weight rounds. I don't notice the weight, either. The mount height is perfect for my cheek weld. USA made scope. Revenge is made in the Philippines, IRC.

I'm also have a Leupold VX-III, Konus M30, Burris Fullfield II and Handgun scope, and two Bushnell Banner Dusk/Dawn. So far, I like the Redfield the best.

Don't have one on an AR, but I put one on my Dad's model 70. I wrote a blog about it a little while ago:

I got one for my first build, but have not sighted it in yet.
I was hoping it would come with caps for storage and cleaning like my Nikon PS, but no joy.

I'm using a Scopecoat. When I'm out in the field, I don't want to think about cover/caps. The Scopecoat protects it in the safe from getting knocked around, too. I might look into some Blizzard clear covers.

I have a 3-9x40 on a LaRue QD mount (104) on a White Oaks 20" upper. Gun's only limitation is my crappy shooting. I just ordered another 104 because the first one performed so well (doesn't lose zero despite taking it off and putting on multiple times) that I wanted one for my 4-12x40 for my 6.8.
