    Nikon or Sightmark

Need some help on making a final scope decision. I would like a 1-4ish scope, red dot is a plus but not a must. I am trying to keep the scope cost around 250. It will be mounted on my newly purchased DD m4v1. I spent all my money on the gun and don't have much left for the scope! I am trying to decide between...

    Sightmark Triple Duty M4 1-6x24 (http://www.sightmark.com/sm13021cd.html)

    or

    M-223 1-4x20 BDC 600 (http://www.nikonsportoptics.com/en/N...---------.html)

I have sifted through various posts on these scopes but wondering if anyone has experience with each and can provide some insight that might help decide on a clear winner.

Or take a look at Primary Arms illuminated scope 1-4x. It has a 30mm tube. Millet 1-4x is also affordable.

Out of your two choices I'd pick the Nikon. Also check out Bushnell throw down. It's 1x-4x, illuminated and Front focal plane. My cousin runs one on his rig and after trying it im seriously contemplating getting one. Best price I found was on Amazon.

There is no substitute for good excellent glass and coatings - go with the M223.

the AR optics from Nikon are nice the M223 and P223 are really basic look at the 1-4 and the throw down. For $187 you can't beat the price for the PCL.

Between the 2 you mention I would go with the Nikon, but like others have said the Millet is a fine scope also

NASA seems to like Nikon products:

I know a riflescope isn't exactly the Hubble Space Telescope, but I have to believe that Nikon has learned a thing or two about glass and coatings over the years.
