I have been out of the country. They would normally bring these to me. We have products with 1, 3 and lifetime warranty but we will stretch it a few months. Shoot me a email.

I was thinking after reading through the post again that it still might be a battery issue. We have found that the LR44s are not used often and even new ones in the stores are often almost dead. I usually recommend a single 1/3L. Might send you one of those first to try but we will sort it out.

Marshall gave me the spec for the battery, but said that I was unlikely to find one in the stores, and insisted on mailing me one.

Those little button batteries are crap as far as I'm concerned. Every product I've owned that took those batteries I've had issues with. That is why I bought their micro dot instead of the one the OP bought.
Looks like Marsh1 and his company will continue to get my business.

I really expect a primary arms rep to get involved in this thread IMMEDIATELY and make things right for this customer. As of this writing, I don't think of PA as a company that lets their customers hang like that.

This is retarded..OMG someone didn't jump on this in the first 12 hours it was posted...People have become to used to instant gratification. I also think Hanko jumping right in and bashing is also BS. PA has been on this forum for a long time and treated it customers with nothing but respect an loyalty. As we can see from Marsh they are good peeps. Things break not everything is always 100% perfect. People need to get off the forum bashing for companies imho. A nation of whiners. Not accusing OP just a general observation of the current state of people.

I have I believe about six of the Primary Arms RDS's, on rifles from .22 to 7.62 with no problems what so ever. Seems pretty cool of them to offer you a deal on a new one after your warranty has ended. My experience in multiple industries is that once your warranty is up, it's up and your SOL. Just my .02

I think that Primary Arms has a contact telephone number and email. It could be that the batteries are not good for whatever reason or something in the circuitry of the sight has failed or is not quite right so it's sucking juice.

Between dozens of cars, appliances, and a thousand electronic devices I've had in the past, I've lost count of the number of things that have conked out just after the warranty period ended... of course.

Neither do I recall anyone being so charitable as to offer a generous discount towards a replacement after warranty has expired... of course.

In the event that a company offers such a rare remedy however, they still get screwed by a public posting such as this one... as usual.
