Ruger 10-22 Scope Needed

I have a Ruger 10-22 with a picatinny rail. I need a recommendation for a good quality, low price, high magnification scope.

Define low price, and high magnification. $300 is low for some people, others think $100. 14x is high for some, others want 24x.

I have a Nikon 3-9-32 rimfire I got off amazon for 90.00 works good lens is bright and detailed. I zero in my friends 795 with a field and stream rimfire scope and was surprised how good the scope was

Tell us what kind of magnification you are looking for... most folks don't use high mag on .22lr

I may have something in the back of my safe I'm not using anymore.

My vision isn't great...I don't need stupid high mag, I just want clarity at a good distance.

Check out the 3x9-40 Nikon Prostaff rimfire. Pretty good glass for the money.
You can find it for $120-150.

Why the high magnification?

If you are into serious target work then I'd say good idea. If you are into general plinking or maybe tree rat hunting then I'd say a good 4X is all you need.
Get quality rings. Some that come standard with low priced(but decent) scopes are a waste of time.

I have one of these on the 10/22 I just bought. Messed around with the scope a bit, seems like a pretty solid scope.

Mueller avp is a great rimfire scope for a very good price

+1 for a 10/22 the Mueller works great. I have the APT and it is a fine scope. Read on rimfirecentral.com and it is a majority of what people prefer.
