Recommend a good Laser Bore Sighter

Anybody have a use a laser bore sighter that worked well?

I know how to bore sight the proper way looking down a bore and I have a mechanical bore sighter BUT the Keltec SU16 design, does not allow you to look down the barrel, so that's why I'm asking if anybody uses one that works well.

I had bought a Walmart one that sticks into the muzzle of barrel but it sucked, so I returned it. How about the cartridge style lasers?

I have some no-name cartridge bore sighters I bought off Amazon. They suck batteries dry in a very short time and seem only usable at dusk. Not very impressed but they help.

I would just use the one shot zero method and forget wasting money on a POS laser.

Earlier this week, I did use a mirror to rough boresight an AK. It worked OK.

This comes up pretty often. If you already know how to do it the classic way, check out the OPMOD bore sighter.

Uses a strong magnet to stock to almost any muzzle. Just self center it and match up the reticle to the dot. I've used it on everything from a savage FVSR 22 to a 450 marlin, even my 12 ga. slug gun. Its easy, its quick, and the green laser makes it easy to sight in in daylight. Usually just go outside on my deck, pick my favorite tree about 90 yards away, and a few turns later, I know I'll be on paper and zeroing only takes a few rounds at the range.

I like the classic way, but this is just as easy if not easier and much quicker.

That's why I wanted to to at least get the bullet close (if not on paper) at the least. Plus I have many rifles that I can't lood down bore and would rather be on paper then fine tune. And the 1 shot method works but at the range the dam seize fires take long and I can't just move target out. So that's part of reason I want a laser, just to have extra option.

If you use the one shot method, you don't need to move the target at all. Just do it at the distance you want your optics zeroed at and be done with it.

I used this one for my AR (red dot) and Mini-14 (3-9) at 25 yds and both times worked great getting me to within 1-2" of where I needed to be.
Better than I expected for $7.

I got a $30 cartridge style laser boresighter from Turners. I just wanted it for my Keltec SU16 and it seem to work fine. I havent take rifle to range but I tested it out on an AR that i know is sighted in, and it was pretty close.
