    SKS Scope from Cabelas

Anyone have any experience with this scope from Cabelas:

Or does anyone have recommendations for a different scope for an SKS?

A friend of mine bought one of those. Would not hold a zero, glass was extremely unclear.
    YMMV.

The Millett DMS-1 would be a perfect SKS scope, but runs around $210.

It's not easy to get good magnified optics under $150. Mueller imports some decent scopes in that price range, though they specify not to use them on high-recoil rifles. I'd expect one would hold up OK on an SKS, since they don't have that much kick.

Another good inexpensive choice is the Weaver V or K series.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into the Millett!

            AVOID THAT SCOPE!!!

I have had 5 of these NC Star scopes. They all broke in the same way, the recticule breaks loose and rotates around inside!!!!

Other than that, it was a great scope, right up to the point where they broke!

I have changed over to this one:

Providing tactical and shooting sports accessories & optics since 1992 and the official UTG & UTG PRO headquarters. The Best Never Rest.

            Also look at this one:

These have been good for me.
