I have a Caldwell Lead Sled DFT and love it. Sighted in 3 rifles with it and it handles AR's no problem, and with enough weight, pretty much everything else.
Has both windage and elevation fine adjust.

Somewhat pricey compared to just a front rest or bag but you can find them on sale occasionally for less than $150

Great rest. Well worth the money.

A bipod up front is more versatile, in that you could use it at the bench AND in the field, whereas the Caldwell front rest linked above is really only good from the bench.

But the bipod probably won't be as steady from the bench as the Caldwell.

Depends on what you want to do.
