    Black Ops II sight question

I know COD uses real sights from real manufactures in the game (ie EOtech).

Any idea who makes this reflex? I like this style but they're usually flimsy looking. But this one looks durable.

Something close would be the c_more. They offer different types, a metal I think aluminum and polymer. The metal is more durable.

Looks like an ncstar to me... I wouldn't waste my money buying one though.

Using a video game to choose weapon optics? Really?

In any case, that looks like any number of cheap Chinese red dots out there, slightly modified to make it look a bit less like an airsoft accessory. I would hardly call it durable. That pane of glass is supported by a thin, weak frame of metal, and it sticks out all by itself, begging to get ripped off.

If you want a light, plain-Jane red dot optic, save yourself the trouble and buy an aimpoint micro if you can afford it, or go to Primary arms and get either their micro-red dot or the new holosun micro-dot they just got in.

Yes, it looks like a tube instead of some weird "pane of glass" all by itself, so it isn't as "futuristic," but it won't break the first time you drop your rifle on it or get caught on your chest rig or a branch. It will also hold zero, not go through batteries like popcorn at a plus-size movie screening, and snag less on clothing, etc...

Like clip mentioned c-more is a pretty solid option.

                  Another option

Pay for what you get though.

The C-more looks pretty solid, especially compared to the ncstar (which looks exactly like what the OP posted). The thickness, width, and shape of the lens housing is much more conducive to staying in one piece. The BUIS is also nice. Don't know much about the electronics, though.

primaryarms.com is good for getting the call of duty out of you, they have good red dots from china that actually work, hold zero, and can take a little torture, not the same as a US made red dot optic. but close enough for hand grenades. or horseshoes take your pick
Slapping an upper onto a lower is not "building" an AR-15.

Just trying to find out who makes it. COD has always used real products, so I figured this was a real product. I like this style, but they're not the most rugged sight. Just kinda hoped someone knew who made it so I could then decide if it's garbage or not.

Guess you didn't look in to everyone's comments. Here is the link for the reflex sight you're looking for:

If you really like that optic, then spend the extra cash to buy quality. I recommend a battery-powered Trijicon RMR, which is a million times better than that NCstar junk.
