    Eotech 512 question

So I but the bullet yesterday and ponied up the dough for a new 512 yesterday. I must admit the thing looks bad *** through the reticle and I can't wait to get it out to the desert

I read that you can use the 65 Moa circle to adjust for range on the fly to estimate where to place a shot.

Can someone please elaborate on this a bit for me?

Where exactly you place the reticle on the target at various ranges depends on the round you're chambered for, the length of your barrel, and any other factors that affect bullet drop over distance. Any recommendations from Eotech themselves will likely be intended for a 14.5" M4 barrel shooting NATO 5.56.
