Well that answers that. Not good at all, obviously very frustrating. I'd say next step is to check your front rail. Buy a small level and confirm plane on both top rails. Once you rule out misalignment, then it's obviously the MBUS Pro front sight.

Offer still stands if you wish to compare, just PM me.

Okay. Just trying to go down the list of process of elimination.

Contact DSG or Magpul then, let them know your problem and see what they say. They might do an even exchange.

I just took a level to the rail and the upper receiver separately... And the rail does have a (very) slight downward angle. Would you guys suggest contacting BCM?

I've already e-mailed DSG and Magpul, thanks for the suggestion though

              BCM response? Problem resolved?

Leaving us hanging, OP, would love to find out what happened.

maybe I am missing something here but why don't you just loosen the fixing bolts on the Hand guard, and realign it with a clamp on the junction between the receiver and the hand guard.
A often used and effective technique is to clamp on a sight mount or the like in between the junction to hold it in place.

I had the same issue with my set along with my friends. The front sight comes loose so when you adjust the knob *sic* the post doesn't actually move.

What I did, I held the post firmly between my fingers since I couldn't locate my tool box tweezers and tightened the adjustment knob. You are in essence screwing in the post. You should be able to adjust for elevation after that.

Interesting. I wondering if that's what OPs issue was.
