Hi Folks, I recently purchased a Nikon Buckmaster on closeout with a 1" tube for my AR. What mount should I use? Nikon sells mounts for the M-223 and P-223 series. Should I get these? Matt

Mount for a Buckmasters Scope for my AR

Turners had the nikon mounts on sale. Not sure if they are on sale anymore BUT I did buy the Nikon two piece and it feels very solid. I used it with my Nikon Coyote Series.
I used this mounts and they are nice to me.
I say get the Nikon mount or the Burris PEPR.
Also if you dont mind using the shims that the Millet one piece uses for the 1" scopes, then get the Millet one piece mount.
Everybody sells them for $45-$60 but Walmart has them for $30. They feel solid. But people dont like them because you need
to use the shim for the 1", but no shims needed for the 30mm scopes.
Here they are for double the price? Unless Im missing something, it appears to be the same mount?

I have the burris x-tra high rings which seem very rugged (I've dropped my ar accidentally on the side of a hill while hunting) but they are heavy.
I also have a burris pepr mount and that seems to be the way to go if I were to get another mount..Originally posted by jmonte35Disagree. Been trying to teach lewdogg21 how to hunt. It's like trying to teach Steve Wonder how to see. Not sure we're ever going to get there.Comment
