They are junk. So is BSA.
By a $1000+ rifle and put a $29 scope on it? Makes little sense.
If you want to cut corners on a scope get an American made Redfield not the offshore made, Leupold VX-I, Nikon, Weaver, Burris, Bushnell(not Sportsview),Simmons or suchA 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Try to afford a Primary Arms. At least lots of those are rated for a 308 caliber, and Primary Arms has a reputation for being decent and reliable despite their low cost.sigpic

The Cheapest M1A mount I recommend is the ARMS #18 and it is a good mount. You go cheap you will have issues.
