    Low cost M1A scope?

Looking for your opinions on a low cost scope option for an M1A standard. Barska any good? Looking to shoot 100 plus.

They are junk. So is BSA.

By a $1000+ rifle and put a $29 scope on it? Makes little sense.

If you want to cut corners on a scope get an American made Redfield not the offshore made, Leupold VX-I, Nikon, Weaver, Burris, Bushnell(not Sportsview),Simmons or such

Try to afford a Primary Arms. At least lots of those are rated for a 308 caliber, and Primary Arms has a reputation for being decent and reliable despite their low cost.

I have been using a Super Sniper in a fixed 10X on my M1A. No problems so far...still holding zero

The Cheapest M1A mount I recommend is the ARMS #18 and it is a good mount. You go cheap you will have issues.

I had the same set up on mine for several years...along with an ARMS 18. Worked great.
