    Red dot sights

Ok so I have always been skeptical of the accuracy of them and thought those could never be as accurate as a traditional scope. Boy was I wrong. I recently purchased a vortex strikefire from PSA and I truly love it. I was able to hit steel at 308 yards no problem repeatedly and fast. Its also a heck of a lot faster to get back on target after the last shot. So in my opinion if you have never used a red dot scope don't hesitate and buy one for your ar. By no way am I saying that my strikefire is more accurate than my MARK AR but they deffinately get the job done.

Accurate absolutely. Precision is a different story, which is where the traditional magnified optics come into play.
