Just as an FYI for anyone in the market for a powered optic and a class on long range shooting. The class is taught by a Scout Sniper instructor. Its 40% off a US optic scope which basically pays for the class. So its rifle scope + training in one package for the price of the scope.

For me I've never done precision shooting but I had a 700 that a friend basically gave me. So I went down to these guys and asked a bunch of questions and they helped me pick out a scope. I figure if you are in a similar situation and can afford it this deal might be something worth looking into.

US Optics makes a great product and has excellent customer service (though their scopes are so well built, you'll never have to call)

Too bad this isn't offered up in the norcal area, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat!

That's a pretty sweet deal
