    Bayonet lug mount

I'm looking to buy a bayonet lug mount. So that i can mount a bipod, lights etc.

I have a cmmg 22lr upper that has the bayo lug mount and behind it a sling swivel.

I also have a pof that has a bayo lug mount but no sling swivel. Although my pof has the rails on the hg, my cmmg does not. Is there a bayo lug mount that doesn't require me to take out my sling swivel and it's able to mount onto my bayo lug mount on its own?

This one is cool and a good price but it seems this one i have to take out my sling swivel. Plus if i wanted to mount it on my pof i wouldn't be able to cause i don't have sling swivel.

This brand i bought on botach a while back, but it didn't fit the bayo lug mount on my cmmg 22lr

The Promag mount is a 2 thumbs up. Yes you will need to drill out the rivet on the sling swivel, but if you don't use it, don't worry. A new sling swivel is only $2. The mount did not come with instructions. It attaches to the holes from the sling swivel, and there is also a set screw on the bottom that keeps the mount nice and tight. Mine came with the set screw upside down, so heads up.

Since I don't have a sling swivel on one of my rifles I'll need something else that would work.
      Thanks

Or a bayo lug mount that doesn't require to be attached to the sling swivel

Bipod would be better not attached to the barrel. Can you use this:

I've had the Promag one for a couple of years. Didn't want to take the sling swivel out either, just cranked the set screw down. It stayed on just fine without the rear screw, it just sits a little forward. Used it for a cheap UTG bipod at the range. Never moved in two years. I finally did add a hand guard with a QD mount so I knocked the drift pin out of the swivel mount and found the rear screw. I believe those two rails on the side of the Promag are for a sling, so if you did take your sling swivel off, you would still have an attach point.

Here are pics of my cmmg 22lr and pof lug mounts. I found a couple that doesn't require to take off the sling swivel. But it seems some people have issues that these lug mounts does not fit properly.

The ones i have are different in sizes. The pof is slimmer, where as the cmmg is taller horizontally.

Here are some mounts that i found. I wonder if you guys have tried these type of mounts before.

ultimate arms bayo lug mount. Similar to cca lug mount but cheaper

I might not put it on my pof cause i dont want to mess with the barrel harmonics. But for the 22lr i assume it wouldn't effect it.
