Iphone mount/adapter to spotting scope

Has anyone used a phone skope, kowa or something similar that mounts the iphone to a spotting scope to take video? I am curious if it has to be a bare iphone (without a case)?

Does it stay on or does it loosen over time? Came across meopix as well that led me to create this topic.
