A2 Front sight post issue

I have an A2 F marked front sight base. I pressed in the detent to adjust the elevation of the post, however after moving the post the detent did not lock back into place. Now the front sight post just freely moves.

Any solutions?

Jiggle the detent with a pin to get it to pop back up.

The hole's a little rough, a little lube will do wonders.
