    Contrasting sights?

I'm getting ready to swap in new NS on 2 pistols, a Sig229 that is about 10 years old now and the OE NS are all but useless now, and a USP 9mm that I want to install NS on.

The only experience I have is with standard 3 green dot sights.

For you guys that have tried the contrasting sights like rear green front orange, or any other variations. How have you liked them?

How about Truglo, any experience with fiber optic sights?

    Looking for recommendation and opinions.

    Thanks.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

I don't like the contrasting color sights, but I like the TruGlo fiber sights.

For my XD I use the Dawson and fiber front with a flat black rear. Granted I dont shoot that one at night or never would anyway. Its definitely fast on frontsight targeting for competiton. I also have the mepros on my 1911 that are outstanding clarity and easy three dot alignment in day or night. I tried a set awhile back on a friends Sig...he had the yellow rear and orange front...to me it was more distracting differentiating before getting on target. YMMV

The sights I have on my Sig contrast, and I'm happy with them. I don't have contrasting colors, but my rear sight is a vertical line and the front is a big round dot. It works well for me, and is very easy to pick up (and tell apart) in the dark.

They're the XS 24/7 sights. I'm happy with 'em. http://www.xssights.com/store/handgun.html
