    Scope mount for AR-15

Hello I have a mark AR with a 40mm obj and I was wondering what type of rings I need to mount a scope. High maybe. I might just go out and buy the new Nikon scope mounts for 49.99. I just want some first hand experience of what has worked good for you thanks.
Good friends will come bail you out of jail. A best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying damn that was fun!

Just go with any of the popular options for 1-piece scope mounts which are setup for use on an AR. Most if not all of them are pretty much optimized for AR sight height and add some forward cant.

      Don't use regular scope rings.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

There are a lot of options that span all price ranges. It really comes down to your budget. Anything from the high-end like American Defense and LaRue($170-$210) to the mid-range like Warne($150), high quality low-end like Burris PEPR QD($120), and basic non QD stuff like Aero Precision($80). I don't know if I would go any lower than the Aero Precision mount, and in fact, I would probably take that over the Burris.
