They are discontinued but still a few out there. Before I buy does anyone have one, should I get it or just stick with Leupold?

I will stay with my Leupold scopes thank you. Most are older VariX-II or 3 models and they still work very well.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I have a few of the Nitrex TR2s.They are the Weaver Super Slam scope. They are built kind of heavy in weight, but the glass exceeds the Leupold VX3s I own.Weaver backs them for repair and if they have to be replaced, you will get the Super Slam back. The EBX reticle is very useable as well. The knobs work the way they are supposed to as well. The TR1s,I do not know about.Comment
