Anyone have a CAA buttstock like this

Just wondering what your opinions are about this. You can buy it with or without the mono-pod.

Your "this" appears to be MIA...did you try to attach or host a photo?

Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

Wow, you would think it was plated in 24k gold for that price.. I read the two reviews, one said he likes it, the other said its cheap and plasticky. I have a Magpul PRS on one of my rifles. It feels good when shooting and it is fully adjustable. They are around 200 bucks now. my 2 cents

Thats why i was asking, because of the "plasticky" comment.
Not that it means anything, but Brownells is sold out of them. ( Someone is buying them)

I have had a few CAA items and they seemed pretty low end. That stock is WAY too expensive.

If it is black and tactical there is a market for it. Legions of tactifools will drive their Jettas to the LGS and buy these up to put on their tactical SHTF rifle that is heavy and never been fired but looks scary and impresses friends at get -togethers.

100% agree. It's stupid expensive. For that price, I would expect carbon fiber molded over a 7xxx grade aluminum frame with metallic hardware.

The Magpul PRS is a proven performer and more than $100 less than that "tacticool" thing.

My shootin buddy has one on his "sniper" AR build and loves it.

I think I agree with you guys on the price.
The Magpul was actually my first choice.
I googled AR10 stocks to try to find some black friday deal and the CAA came up.
Let me know iff you see the PRS cheap

Standard a2 stock kit is about $65 bucks.
Rock River Arms, Inc. offers a complete line of American made, custom built AR15 style rifles.

And an inexpensive collapsible one is $50 bucks and up.

Of course these are just one retailers options, better deals can be had especially on the collapsible ones.

I have found they work just fine, and anything more is just overkill.

I think the point of the OP is stock with a monopod... There are boatloads of good choices for regular fixed and collapsible stocks

I don't NEED the mono-pod but want something more adjustable.
For $180 of Excile, I'll get the Magpul
