Spotting Scope recommendation for .22LR at 100 yards

Title says it all. I zeroed my 10/22 with a 4-16x Weaver at 25 yards, no problem. However, when I brought it out to 100 yards, I could not see the tiny .22LR holes even at max zoom. Does anyone have any recommendations from experience for a spotting scope? I don't need anything super nice as I only go to the range once a month at the most, just something that will get the job done for less than $150ish. I was looking at a Barska, but they seem to have mixed reviews.

Ended up just getting this, for $50 we'll see how it performs, reviewers indicate that they can see .22LR holes past 100 yards.

The minimum spotter I would recommend is a Redfield Rampage 20-60X60 @ $189

While that Simmons only costs $50 and it may spot 22 holes @ 100yds, there are reasons its only $50.

The Redfield Rampage is highly regarded for sure. We'll see how the Simmons works out. I can always upgrade later!

I've been using a Barska Blackhawk 20-60x60 for a while now. Cost twice as much as that Simmons and not likely much better. I was ready to upgrade right after I looked thru a "real" spotting scope. The difference was impressive. Finally ordered my upgrade this week.

The Simmons is actually $80 normally, $50 was a black friday price. I am planning to go to the range this Saturday and will report back. It might work out for those who do not not have the budget for a Redfield.

Take a look at the Konus 60mm variable or 80mm if you can afford it.

They are excellent optics at around 20x

Look at the Celestron Optima 80, 20-60 zoom. It is best rated.
Hard to beat for under $200.
