    Leupold scope adjustments question

I got my Leupold scope back from factory service, I'm not sure the meaning of before and after adjustments? Thanks

It means your scope was really jacked up.... and had 10 clicks vertical. Now it has 40 clicks vertical.

You use some clicks getting your zero- which throws it off of mechanical center. Then when you shoot longer distance you need to dial in elevation using more of that 40 clicks.

--- It looks like they may have left it in an 'optical center' not a mechanical center which is why none of the numbers match up evenly.

Leave it to Leupold to send you something back which means absolutly freaking nothing!!! No explanation, nothing. Gotta love um. They are quickly becoming the "mag light" of the scope industry...resting on their laurels.
Riddle me this...Why does Leupold advertise the M5 turret travel adjustment in MOA? Freaking really!
Ok, I do love the TMR reticle. But c'mon Leupold, keep up would ya!

IMHO, the first is where you had the scope adjusted to when you sent it in for repair, the second shows how much travel you have.

An explanation would help, but it looks like they are giving you enough info to preform a field zero on your rifle. After checking that the scope is optically centered, use the "as received" set of #s to return the scope to where you had it set.
