    Looking for a new WML

So I've used pistol lights, offset mounts with flashlights with tail caps, but I've decided now I will be best off with a pressure switch(tape) or possibly one of the Inforce WML's.

    A couple questions

Are there any brands I should be looking for other than Surefire that are comparable? I like their mounts, switches and filters, but with the market, there has to be other brands making similar systems for less? If not, so be it.

Secondly, with one of the Inforce WMLs mounted at 12oclock on the front of my rail, would it interfere with my view with my EOTech 512?

Surefire dedicated weapon lights are expensive. But their handheld lights are cheaper and can be mounted to 5.56 rifles without any problems since the recoil is minimal.

Check out the Surefire EAG Fury, which costs less than half of a Surefire Scout. In terms of performance, the Scout has a narrow beam with more throw while the Fury has a wider beam with more spill for increased peripheral illumination.

Find weapon mounted lights and handheld flashlights, offering dependable illumination and rugged construction.

The Inforce WML is lower in height than AR-15 iron sights so it won't interfere with your Eotech sight picture.

Thanks for the reply, does that handheld Surefire you mentioned have a tape switch conversion available?

And d'oh I just realized I clicked the wrong subforum, I meant to go one lower when I started this thread

I'm not sure which Surefire tape switches are compatible, but I have a Primary Arms tape switch (less expensive alternative) that works fine with the Fury.

Edited to add: According to the posts at AR15.com and M4carbine.net, the Surefire XM-07 tape switch is compatible with the Fury.
