Considering this mount for a 308 Flat Top, my concern is the clearence of the 50mm Bell on my Nikon Buckmaster scope. Anyone using this mont have any issues?

BURRIS AR- PEPR Scope Mount

I don't own the Buckmaster, however, consider the math...
Looks like roughly 1.5" from rail top to tube center (based on "A" value + distance to center on a 1" tube mount = .5").
50mm + 4mm (adding est 2mm of outside bell thickness x2) = 54mm or 2.13". Divide by 2 = 1.065".
You should have something close to 1/2 inch to spare between the bottom of the bell and the flat top rail...easy peasy
(plenty of room for lens caps too)

I just bought one with a Nikon Monarch 5-20 and I think it compares well to the Larue SPR-1.5 that I have a Leupold Mark AR 6-18 mounted on. I like that the Burris comes with 2 sets of caps, one with rail mounted on top of each cap and one set without. I use the plain set of caps. The Burris is half the cost of the Larue.I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

The Burris,Nikon and Leupold will all work fine. The Warne extra high quick releases are good also.Comment

After each trip to the range screws on my PERP mount get a bit loose. Not to much but enough to let the scope to move from the original position. I do not have such problem on my second rifle with the same type of scope. Is there a way to prevent screws from getting loose?sigpicComment
