Anyone make a decent HK scope base that doesn't break the bank?

I've got a CA89 that I want to mount a red dot to it, and I'm finding that either I go with a $10 POS mount made in China that won't work, or else the next step is a couple hundred. Does anyone make something in between that's decent but not so damn expensive?

I have a UTG mount on my PTR that currently has an EOtech on it.

Held on tight after firing with Vortex strikefire and a cheap 3-12 scope, but waiting for a range day with the EO. I don't expect it to hold the same zero after hundreds of rounds of .308 and multiple trips without retightening... especially for ranges from 300+ yards. But, a red dot for 20-100 yards seems to be fine for it. It's very similar to the MFI design. Try it out... only $30.
