Burris Quick disconnect or not for 300 AAC

I am going to mount the Nikon P-300 to my 300 AAC Blackout upper and was looking at the Burris AR-P.E.P.R.1-piece scope mount and wanted to know how well the quick disconnect worked. Did it keep zero within a minute or two or did you have to re-zero. Would I be better off getting the permanent version or is there a better choice out there.
