    45 degree iron sights

I am currently setting up an AR 15 for a medium range optic and wanted to concurrently run iron sights at a 45 degree angle.

Initially, I was considering buying 45 degree rail attachments and then getting a set of Troy or Midwest Industry back up irons.

Then I saw the Diamondhead D-45 (https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=sh...roduct_id=3722), which seems like it would weigh less overall compared to getting 45 degree rails separately and mounting the irons on there. My only concern is with the durability factor, since the D-45s look like they have a lot of moving parts. Also, I don't necessarily want a spring-loaded design.

In addition, I don't like the traditional front sight post, and was considering getting either the KNS duplex crosshair front sight (https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=sh...roduct_id=3899) or the Blitzkrieg chevron front sight post (https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=sh...roduct_id=3970). Does anyone here have experience with these.

Any input would be much appreciated.

I wish I has some of your money.

I bought some similar to these. The price is right and they work.

JP ENT also makes a reel cool 45 setup. It looks like this but has a 45 mount. http://www.jprifles.com/1.6.4.1_sights.php Sorry cant find the right one,,,

I wish I had your eyes too. I don't think I could see the crosshair front post well enough. At night they maybe hard for you to see...

    I like chevrons...in my AKOGS.

I'm considering either Dueke Defense offsets or XS Big Dot offsets. If anyone's tried these, whattaya think?

The sights I bought were made in China and cost $24.99 and they work great. They say Dueke Defense on them.

        Sorry Dueke.

They work real well. Great as a back up to almost any scope. Real fast, just rotate the rifle.

My AR has a scope but that gets old fast I think I will look into those 45 sights setups just for fun and practical use.
          Thanks
