    Nikon for 223 and 308

What is your opinion on a nikon m223 point blank for a ar-15 platform and the nikon m308 nikoplex or BDC for a remington 700 platform.

I am considering the two for my rifles but are they any good and is their any other scopes that conpare to them that might be better and similar in price range?

If you have own either of them. How do you like it.

I'm rather fond of the Nikon scopes,
I have the M223 Point Blank on a 16" Adams Arms GPU build, I just installed it so no range time yet but the glass is scary clear and bright and the field of view is impressive.
I have a Monarch 5-20x44 on my Savage FCP-K .308 and have not had a problem with it.
Same goes for the Monarch 3-12x44 on my Addax 18" build, both Monarchs have the BDC reticule and side focus..

As I recall the 'M223/M308' are the 'Tactical' versions of the Monarch and the 'P223/P22' are the 'tactical' versions of the Prostaff.

Im really feeling the m223 point blank for sure. Ive briefly looked at vortex viper 1-4 but i still seem to go back to the m223 and drool a little over it for my AR. As for the nikon m308 for the rem 700 i dont feel very excited about it. But I did look at the monarch line and have been having a hard time deciding between the two or to go with a vortex hst.

How is the light transmission on the nikons?
