    Samson evolution rail

So I picked up a cmmg dedicated upper, and installed a 12.37" samson evolution free float tube on it. Just noticed today the the rail curves up at least a couple mm. Which I imagine is going to create havoc with the iron sights I planned on putting on it. Any one have any experience/ tips? I searched the web found very few similar experiences other people had and said they just held the rail down while tightening to fix it. Well I applied pressure downward on the upper today while retighening the set screws ( with the top rail laying parralel to the table top) when I picked it up to check its still curving up. Any thoughts? Need to apply more pressure? Something else causing this? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just a suggestion, but I would lay a straight edge on it like a level or a ruler, snap a couple photos, and email the retailer for a replacement. I cannot think of a valid reason that top rail would not be perfectly level all the way down. Good luck.
