Scope recommendation for M1A

I will be picking up my M1A on Sunday.

While I do not want to spend a fortune, I want something to hit 500-600 yards, with potential for maybe a little further. I bought a Standard, it was the only one I could find locally. I will be upgrading components soon. I ordered an M-14 walnut stock (mine came with the synthetic), I will also be getting a trigger job on it, as well as upgrading a few other parts. And eventually I will put a better barrel on it.

whats your budget and what features are you looking for? what kind of reticle? mil or moa?

Maybe moa and modern range funding? To be honest I am not sure. I have been shooting for a while, but long range is a new foray for me
