i got bot $70 or so i got small budget at the moment

For that money, you'd be best off with the Aimpoint lookalike from 1337tactical - http://www.1337tactical.com/shop/pro...?productId=111 (out of stock in the high mount, unfortunately - you'd need that for an AR). These have been used by a lot of people (including me) with good results.

There are lots of cheap red dots out there, many that look just alike, and you won't know if a particular offering is any good unless other people have used them.

Of those listed, I would lean toward the Barska, followed by the BSA.
