I have used a Redfield scope in the past and been very happy with it. This caused me to lean toward the same manufacturer for glass to mount on my brand spankin' new Stag 3G upper.
I have heard a lot of positive buzz on CG regarding SWFA so I went there and was impressed by the website presentation and pricing. I ended up buying a Redfield Battlezone that was bundled with a SWFA SS cantilever mount. It was around $230 shipped for everything.
I know this is not high end glass, but I would appreciate any feedback from folks who may have this optic and what they think of it. I do not hunt, so this set up will be strictly for range/desert shooting out to maybe 300 yards max.
