Burris C4

I have been thinking about geting one of these for my hunting rifle. I like the idea of a custom turret that also gives windage values. I am not thrilled about 2nd focal plane making the reticle only useful at one power setting, but figure it should be o.k. with practice, not going to take any long shots in a hurry.

Anyone out there have one, or have any experience with one, I would appreciate any feedback before I spend $500, thanks

No expert here but I will say 2 things.

1. Burris makes great scopes for the price.

2. Second focal plane isnt a problem for many people. If you're having to use the reticle for holdovers, you're probably dialed all the way out where the reticle is accurate anyway. Of course my experience in that deparment is based on much lower powered scopes.
