Nikon scope product line comparison?

Is there a resource out there that compares and explains the differences between Nikon's various product lines, with regard to their scopes? I'm trying to see the actual difference between the lines, from the Prostaff to Buckmaster to Monarch, and it's tough to tell what's what.

I suppose a similar question could be asked re Leupold.

I'm looking at scopes in the realm of 3-9x ~40mm, for my AR15s (and perhaps later for an AR10-class rifle), and I'm trying to figure out whether I should look at P223, M223, Buckmaster or Monarch lines, and I haven't had a lot of luck finding something that really explains the differences, and why it's worth the extra money (or not) for each step.

Doesn't necessarily "explain" the differences, but I found that MidwayUSA shows an image of the different reticles associated with the different scopes whereas most of the other websites just name the reticle but don't show a picture of it.

I found this very helpful recently when shopping for my Prostaff Rimfire.

Agreed, I really like it when sites actually show the reticle rather than just a single exterior product shot! Some are definitely better than others in that regard.

It's amazing to me that no one has some sort of comparison tool, though, at least not that I've seen so far.

Scope manufacturers don't make it easy when they have four different lines called "Monarch". lol
