Burris AR Pivot Ring (flip to side) issue

Hi all,

Does anyone have this mount? I just got one and I'm pretty disapointed with it. There is play (up and down)on the pivot mechinism. When I have the magnifier mounted to it, it just seems loose as hell. I really hope this isn't normal.

I find the same thing - that the pivot allows the magnifier to move. I had high hopes for the product, it took years for Burris to bring it to market after announcing it. Given the time involved, it should lock up like a bank vault. If you're looking for a magnifier and mount, the Vortex VMX3T would be my choice:

It's an updated VMX3, with a flip to side replacing the previous mount that moved in an arc.
