Okay....first of all, I can't afford (nor do I really need) 2nd, 3rd, or 4th generation night vision. My budget is definitely no more than $1000.
I want a scope for my Saiga that can be quickly detached and held by hand when the power is out, I'm on my boat, camping, etc. I don't want a monocular...I want a scope. I also don't expect to be taking on Uncle Sam or Spetznaz, so please don't go into all the tactical details...I get it....if the world ends, they're gonna get me.
Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with either of the following Generation 1 products
Yukon
ATN
Or is there something else I should look at?
