    PSO 6x36 questions

I recently got a PSO 6x36 scope for my Saiga .308 and I have a couple questions, it's set up for x54r, will it work for .308? Or fairly close, and it doesn't have a manual. How does it work? What do the numbers mean? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1375931512.725382.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1375931538.236701.jpg

You have a nice Russian scope made by NPZ instead of the usual Belomo factory in Belarus. This scope is called I think a PO 6x36 and it has a width-based range finder in the reticle. You would put the target in between the curved lines and where it touches front and back you would note the number which is the distance to that target in 100's of meters (200=200 meters, for example). The target would need to be a particular length for this to work. There should be a number displayed to the side of the reticle which is the length in meters that the range finder is calibrated to. It will look something like "1,5" which is the European way to say 1.5 meters (4.92 feet).

.308 should be fine. You will just need to zero the scope at 100 meters/yards, reset the elevation turret dial to read 1, then note how many clicks to turn it to hit something 200 250 300, etc away.

Send me an email through my profile here and I'll email you a manual.

Now I got another question, the eye relief is pretty short, how much eye relief is needed for .308? I don't wanna have scope eye haha
