    Magpul BUIS Stiff?

I got an authentic Magpul BUIS gen 2 and when i try to change the aperture its really stiff. Like, i have to use my nails to separate it and flip it to a higher aperture. Is this normal? Also, after I flip it the large aperture still wiggles back and forth (barely though).

    Heres the video I recorded:

Mine's super stiff as well, but I don't have that play with the larger aperture. I had to use a tool to change it the first few times, but it wore out a little. Before, I had a 50/50 chance to either separate the apertures or drop both down.

The play in the aperture is concerning, though.

As far as the stiffness, try a little WD-40 or clp. Mine was super stiff like that and I gave it a little WD-40 and its significantly better. The play... I'd send it back.

Mine is not stiff. I have the real ones on my AR and some PTS ones on my shotgun. Neither are stiff or have play at all!

Exchange it for another one. That play shouldn't be there. And it should be relatively easy to switch the aperture.
            Sorry, not sorry.

I happened to have my rifle out for a cleaning while i was reading this and mine too has that same play in it. Guess I will be needing to contact Magpul as well.
