    Sightmark Ultra Shot

So I picked one of these up on an impulse buy at the Turner's sale the other day, not even sure yet what I'm going to put it on.

Anybody have one of these, how do you like it?

    Has it held up?

It is ok. Mine seems to not hold zero but maybe I'm doing something wrong. Would be good on a "tacticool" .22 but I don't know about a .223 or bigger.

Mine doesn't work unless i push in on the battery compartment on the side. I'm going to take it apart to see if its fixable. Bummer but it was pretty cheap so it is what it is.

I do remember the sales guy saying something about having to re-zero if you switched between the different reticles, do you use the same one or switch between them?

I have a 15-22 on order, so I'll probably give it a try on that.

Is that what it is? I was wondering if that was the reason.

I think it will work out great on the 15-22. I am aware of the re-zero if I change reticule. I don't think that was the issue tho, but its possible one of my friends change the reticule or it somehow moved in my gun bag.

One of the reasons I got it was that it had two reticules that I liked, which was the cross and the single dot. I don't know why I keep messing with red dots, my astigmatism messes them up. I originally had a Aimpoint PRO, the Sightmark and now I'm trying one of Marshall's (Primary Arms) Micro red dot.
