Leupold quick release rings and bases

Anyone have experience with these, good/bad, hold up to recoil.

i recently bought an old set of vintage leupold "detacho" mount and rings. not sure if they are the same setup, but from what ive read leupold makes good stuff, i dont see a problem with it.

I'm normally not a fan of QR setups, but I'm throw a new scope on an 1895M Marlin I have and wanted to try a set. Im going with the QR base and ring set, not the QRW's.

Should have it mounted up in a few days. I'll post some pics when all done. I've heard very good things about the QR setups from Leupold...worth a try for me.

I went with the Leopold #50053 QR two piece bases and #49976 medium extension rings. Quality stuff, fit up between rings and bases is really tight. You have to have Hulk strength fingers to spin the lock levers to the lock position. Once installed rings and bases are solid. Mounted the scope and it is very tight to try and release off the bases, could be just the initial fit and needs to be worked in a bit. I'll take a solid fit over ease any day. I'll give a final write up when I take it to the range and send some round through it.
On a side note I am glad I chose the extended front ring because the long action of the 300 mag chews up a lot of scope mounting real estate.

I have the same QD base and ring as DS on my 338WM BAR, never took it off, remount and test the zero. But also never worried it wouldn't hold under recoil
